Mexican Food Suggestions

Please recommend some good Mexico food, as I call it. Here in Fresno, of course.

Preferably I'm looking for sit-down restaurants. And I don't mind if it's a little pricey. I guess what I want is really high-quality shit. I'm all about beans and cheese, and any place can do that, but I want something especially delicious and high quality. You know, ( Read more... )

Fajita Fiesta is pretty lame.
And you know Toledo's is my favorite.

Fajita is good sometimes! they're just not consistent. It makes me mad.

And then that one time we had to wait about an hour for food. Fuck that crap.

Yeah, it's no good if you order the same soup four times and somehow each time it's different... TOTALLY different.

That one time it was seriously like hot ass salsa and burned my little mouth.

Not good.

But if you want some good mexican, Tacos Marquitos is really good. Not to fond of their bulldog burrito, but everything else ive had there was good. And they make all their tortillas by hand, from scratch, so you know they are good.

They are at the corner of cedar and barstow, in the sushi n pop parking lot, located in the very corner.

The evil chain mexican.... I absolutely love el torito.

other really good (but slightly dive-esque) is Rocio's downtown at Fresno and C st (by the rite aid and food maxx)

And sals at alluvial and fresno.
