here's a bunch of photos from fire, er, i think it was 106. when the province is on high hazard and your fire is the only active fire, province-wide, they tend to throw a lot of resources at you. fires like these are about as fun as they get: small, active, lots of tanker drops, and i wasn't the fire boss. generally, the leader of the first crew

But I'm here on business: I'm thinking you should be a speaker at the scm conference in May. The topic is the apocalypse. No. But it's how to organise creatively to deal with these times (aka apocalypse).

I'm finished reading Endgame II -- I am so messed up now. Also, I have The Culture of Makebelieve for you, although I haven't read it yet (copy just came and I read Endgame first). I copied pieces of Endgame for my class to read.

My life will be less mad next week; perhaps we all can visit. We'll have a house, but you already have one too. What furniture was it that you're looking for again?

speaker at a conference about the collapse!?! cool. i'd love to say yes, but i plan on returning to alberta for another summer of the fun featured in this post; if the conference is in may, i'm pretty sure it wouldn't work out... yarg!

i'm almost finished with endgame I. you can borrow it, if you'd like. i keep eying my fresh copy of endgame II on the bookshelf, but my upcoming exams and papers are getting in the way. again, yarg!

a visit would be fantastic. in terms of furniture, there isn't much we need, i don't think. my parents and sister are u-hauling a trailer-load of stuff from alberta this weekend, so we'll see how it all fits.
