Brunettes rock!
I saw my hairdresser a couple of weeks ago to touch up my streaks and get a trim. She totally screwed up for no apparent reason but fixed it by re-dying some over done streaks back to my natural colour -medium brown.

Whoever thought that Black was a good idea for a Play Doh colour should be shot. Or at least made to come scrape it out from under the finger nails of everyone who comes into contact with it.

RIP little rat
Wednesday afternoon I was hanging some dipes to dry on the line while Owen napped and I noticed a swarm of flies in the yard. They were attacking a little brown ball of fur. A baby rat most likely. Well, some things are sinking in
So, I was waiting in the car with the kids while G gave Echo a run at the dog park. Both kiddos were in their jammies already after a visit to grandmaman's and we just pit stopped for the dog.

Holding it together for the sake of the children
My disgust for the infestaion of ants that is.
This morning, we all came down to breakfast with the worst ant infiltration on the counters ever! We have ants every summer and we have been pretty lucky this year but this morning reached an all time ick in the amount and spread of the swarm.
