I would like the know what the hell they're doing all day that the car doesn't seem to be getting fixed.

Having driven many POSs in my life I can relate (I'm not saying your car is a POS I'm just saying I have experience with many car problems).

There are a number of different things it COULD be like a bad fuel injector or a loose muffler (engines require a certain amount of 'resistance' to get the right compression). It might be something really simple like a loose oil cap that the computer wouldn't pick up on. BTW did your mmechanic reset the computer? If they didn't the error won't clear properly.

I am loath to recommend this but you might want to take it to a Subaru dealership.

We have a good mechanic in Drexel Hill (not too far from Skye actually). Is that too far for you guys?

Well, I took it to another guy in Broomall and he said they were doing all the right stuff. Plus it seems OK after yesterday. Hopefully it will stay OK this time!
