Wedding Stuff - Venue

Last night, a very tired, upset, crying Scarlett before bed:
"I don't want to be a big girl Mummy"
"Why?"
"Because I won't be your little girl anymore"
"But you always will be"
"But I won't be your daughter when I'm a grown up"
Cue big mummy hug, story and my daughter, who always will be, fast asleep. -

Nan is recovering, thank God. They took out her spleen, put her on dialysis and have since taken her back off. She is eating normal food which is a good sign. Details are sketchy, haven;t spoken to dad, but he is returning form Essex tonight for the first time in over a week, so he must be assured that she is perhaps stable, if not on the mend ( Read more... ) -

As an antidote to my very upbeat post at the weekend, today's is a sad one. It looks like my nan is dying. She's in intensive care with multiple organ failure. She's been in and out of hospital for months, in fact hasn't been particularly healthy for years but it looks like this is the one she won't pull through from.
