Now that I have touched upon the subject of "green energy" I would like to speak on the current push towards "organic" and local food

True, a person should try to look at a variety of sides to a question.

Just like electric cars, the reaction I get they they are called zero-emissions: 'pardon me, isn't that electicity coming from somewhere?'

Not saying we shouldn't have organic foods or electric cars; just, as you say, consider the different sides of the question.
