I actually really enjoyed The Secret Circle. I was rather wary, having heard less than flattering reviews of it- worse than Twilight? Say it ain’t so! Thankfully, for me, personally, it not only exceeded those low standards but was quite entertaining. ^_^

Agreed on everything here on The Secret Circle. It holds much promise. And I loved Britt in Life Unexpected, and read the series back in primary school, so. :D

Thank you. I felt like a bad fangirl for not loving it, but...W. T. F. Oh, Stana. Be cute and adorable, not...whatever that was.

I have this thing about fake exaggerated crying. *shudder*

I follow the wife of one of the show's head writers on Twitter...she's an actress. She's witty and awesome and he is too. Not that you cared but its the first thing I thought of when I saw this post. I dont have a lot of interest in new shows, and I'm struggling to care about returning favorites. I just joined netflix to stream from my computer so I can watch TV and movies more than I should. Oh wait...I am stoked about Body of Proof.

Haha, I care! I think it's nice that the writer and loved one thereof are cool people. ^_^ I've had a couple shows where TPTB were complete douchebags and it's just...irritating, gah, having their fingerprints all over your show.

Aww, it's a shame no new shows are appealing to you. I have a few new ones staked out, hopefully they'll get my interest (and not be cancelled if so).

Yay for Netflix! AND I AM D/L BODY OF PROOF, OMG, SO EXCITED. I love love LOVE this show. :D :D :D

STOP MAKING ME WANT TO WATCH TSC! UGHHH.

No, it's alright, really :P I watched some before I left my house Friday night (I KNOW! I WENT SOMEWHERE ON A FRIDAY NIGHT WTF!?) and it wasn't a trainwrek like I expected lol. I agree that they are trying too hard with the ~bad girl thing with Faye. But holy hell, awesome minds think alike because I was all "lol who cares about Cassie being with that one guy, ship her with Faye!" Yeah. So I may go and watch the rest of the episode.

I took that HP husband test and got Neville \O/ Which is so accurate, because that's the exact type of guys I usually fall for, when I do!

LOOOL. I WILL TOO BRAINWASH YOU IF I LIKE, CAN’T STOP ME, NYAH NANA NAANAA. (also, abbreviations are getting too similar for me! I keep getting TSC mixed up with T:SCC, ack)

Woohoo, lookit you getting a social life, girl! WHO ARE YOU?!

I’m glad you get what I mean about Faye! Like, later on, she did fit the bad girl image more (although even then- ALL SHE DID WAS TURN OFF THE LIGHTS. I mean, they had badass music rocking that scene and she’s like, being all eco-friendly? It’s not like she’s beating people up or anything!) but she was actually being nice at the start, so yeah.

I just chafe at writers trying to manipulate my attitude- if they want to make me dislike someone, they gotta work at it, y’know? (same with if they want me to regard someone else as a good guy. UNRELATED WILL RAGE IS RAGE-Y AND UNRELATED but omg, you are so insidious, I can’t stop seeing Will/Sue anvils now)

I was all "lol who cares about Cassie being with that one guy, ship her with Faye!" YESSSS. *high five* You make me so happy right now! Everyone else, ( ... )

NOOOOOOOOOOO

LOL. Well, do not be too shocked about my ~social life, it was just me going to dinner with my mother and her friend. I AM SO POPULAR.

Faye I can see as being sneaky nice. That kind of love to hate type of thing.

I can’t stop seeing Will/Sue anvils now

LOL SO TRUE. When there's two characters, and I ask myself: "do the two people like each other?" If the answer is no, what do I do? SHIP IT. (The other day I was reading GoT and I got to a part and I was reminded of a couple that I sort of shipped when watching the show, but then when reading the book I was like, "wow, I ship it." You will NEVER guess who they are. Do you have people in your mind? Okay...

Tyrion/Catelyn. I TOLD YOU. WTF. I really wonder if I had something happen to me in my childhood, where some kid that may have bullied me and then I had a crush on them, because idk, always, ALWAYS with the hateships with me ( ... )

it was just me going to dinner with my mother and her friend. I AM SO POPULAR.

But- SOMEONE OUTSIDE THE FAMILY WAS INVOLVED. THIS IS MAJOR. I've only been out to lunch with mother. Like, the last year or so, it's only been mother. Not that I mind- she pays, hehe.

Faye I can see as being sneaky nice. That kind of love to hate type of thing.

I don't want to hate her! But sneaky nice, yeah, like she gives attitude but then she does nice things- helping Cassie unlock her locker, for instance. Which...is trumped by nearly getting her killed later on and relentlessly stalking her, but oh well. (I seriously love how the second ep is all about her wanting to get close to Cassie, literally linking arms with her and dragging her away from a convo with another chick, haha! IT IS LOOOOOVE)

When there's two characters, and I ask myself: "do the two people like each other?" If the answer is no, what do I do? SHIP IT. AND I ADORE THIS ABOUT YOU, JSYK. It is so similar to how my mind works. (in the second ep, Cassie and Faye explode each other's ( ... )

Well, if it’s Thomas Dekker you’re invested in, aren’t you lucky! Even if I didn’t really like John Connor (soooo whiny), I’m glad for the actor’s sake that he got a starring role in a new show. ^_^ BUT WHAT ABOUT SUMMER GLAU?

I’m really happy people on my flist are liking this show. I was like, ‘omg, they’re gonna think I’m so uncool’ when I posted this, lol, so yeah. Sigh of relief! I haven’t enjoyed a pilot as much as this- and as you say, most shows do improve after the pilot, so fingers crossed.

Faye…she’s the kind of character that rubbed me the wrong way, but I got interested in anyway? I think she could be really awesome if the writers don’t oversell the GOOD/BAD dichotomy. That’s what bugs me so often- they want to pigeonhole characters, so one is the epitome of all things pure and sweetness and light and is always right and does everything perfectly and then the other will always be the opposite of that. There needs to be shades of grey, damn it. I’m hoping they manage that balance with her. (because really, if the only ( ... )

I do, toooo. Exactly what I find appealing, hee. And especially this: under that rough exterior lies...well, a rough interior. But under that is a soft, squishy center and you don't mind at all that you're the only person in the world who gets to see it. I would totally love that, it'd make me feel so special, heh.
