Revenge: Sadly, unlike the lead in TSC, I am not impressed by this show’s main chick. She’s too…bland, softly-spoken, unconvincing…I don’t get any sense of contained menace from her. I feel no underlying threat in her words, no leashed tigress quality in her movement, just…nothing to indicate she isn’t really an ordinary teen girl. Which, ( Read more... )

I didn't feel any menace coming from her (except when she threw Amber Valetta under the bus - I'm sorry, Lydia), but I didn't dislike her

That's good! I just expect more from leads and it's disappointing when they don't meet my expectations. The girl in Terra Nova, for instance, is really awesome. I kind of have a girlcrush, tbh! Someone like her could've done so much with this role. *sighs*

It does not bode well for Ringer and I at the moment. I don't even want to watch the second episode, but I'm going to force myself to.

*pets* Out of SMG love? I feel for ya. I couldn't make myself finish the first ep! But hey, I hear it gets better (or maybe you get used to the...not!awesome) so you might be able to stick it out without too much angst.

I've definitely seen the blonde nerdy guy in something else before.

I AM TOTALLY SURE HE WAS IN LEGEND OF THE SEEKER. But you don't watch that afaik, so...IDK where you've seen him!

HAHA, SO LATE TO THE PARTY, THAT GOT GIF WAS FROM FOREVER AGO.

Oh she is utterly gorgeous. I love her.I love ( ... )

Not the Season 9 contestants of Project Runway, that's for damn sure

That might explain why it's sitting on Foxtel and languishing unwatched...oh, wait, no, that's the Australian Project Runway. I cbf, tbh. I miss Heidi and Tim! Alex Perry is just meh.

Fandom does make everything gay. *happy sigh*

HAPPY sigh? Not when it comes to R&I, surely! You can't have changed that much! :P

I think his father is a lot nicer than your father, bb.

That is a fact. *nodnod*

he wouldn't want his only child (I assume) to spend the rest of her life thinking her dad was some big terrorist plotter. It's kind of a double edged sword.

But if he loved her, it shouldn't matter to him- her mental wellbeing coming at the cost of believing he was a terrorist is surely a fair trade? Once he's dead, what does it matter? I'd get it more if he made an effort to tell her the truth while he was alive, but after he's dead, it just seems either gratuitous or like he was using reverse psychology 'coz he wanted her to go on a vengeance spree.

Downloading Revenge now. Can't wait to see it. I obvs didn't read your review of it, just so I can keep a fresh mind about it. :3

I decided from the get-go not to even bother with Charlie's Angels. I doubt anything could be as good as the original TV show. I really disliked the films with Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu. :\
