Wow, I'd completely forgotten about that little adventure. Holy crap, that was creepy.

Wow...what a story. You have a gift with words, my dear. And, perhaps magnets in your drawers for odd situations. Perhaps the next time I have a road trip coming up, I'll have to drag you and your big hunk with me.

:D

Road tripping with you would be seriously awesome. Where would you like to go?

Please don't say Kansas.

Hmmm...where shall we go? jenintheclouds September 2 2006, 15:23:24 UTC
...anywhere. With the right attitude, good music, fantastic friends, anywhere can be an adventure. This year, I've gone to Chicago, Niagara Falls, Cincinnati, one over to your area, Traverse City a couple times, Frankenmuth...and have plans for Gatlinberg and Las Vegas coming up in the near future. That doesn't include the trips to the island or leaving for Alaska tomorrow. I like to explore and enjoy the world (or at least my little corner of it).

Isn't Kansas one of those states you just drive through?

Heh. I have a friend that just did a round trip...literally around the country. The first time was around the border states, the second time was the interior states and he went to all of them with the exception of Hawaii and Alaska. Incredible trip. Took him three months to do it, but what a way to play.

Naah. That only happens on bridges built in the 1950s.

I kid you not, the left lane in both directions becomes metal grating. Did I ever mention I had to drive over this bridge every time I visited my ex-in-laws?

The bridge in Bay City is like that too, which certainly gave me the willies when I was walking over it at the Tall Ships Festival this summer. You very much need to play more Silent Hill.

Also, your icon made me lol, quite literally.

Ya know... I think you guys scare me... :)

I go into areas like this and don't notice a thing.... well other then everyone running into their houses and slamming the door before I can get out of the car....

So you're scarier than empty towns at 8:30 pm and staring rifle-weilding statues? I need to travel with you more often!
