Just googled myself and found a link to Veteran Affairs Canada. It appears that there was a James Bjarnason who fought during the First World War (16th Battalion CEF) and was killed in action September 2, 1918. He is buried in Dominion Cemetary row E. plot 21 in Hendecourt-les-Cagnicourt, France. Kind of creepy that one: I found someone else
