Amanda Pyykonen: Teacher, Unicef volunteer, and Class-A asshole!

I was all fired up last night to write about this thing I got in the mail that made me super mad but now the steam has gone out of me. But I'll force myself. I don't want to seem as if I'm being conceited or self celebratory but everyone has things about themselves that they must, for reasons of functioning in society, believe they are good at to ( Read more... )

"I'm a fucking big time team player!!"
I'm picturing how you waited 5 minutes for us all to be quiet before you would tell us where we were going on your birthday party (ha ha! joking, i know you were just being silly)

you are totally justified. ask for an explanation. you might be surprised because it sounds like they fucked up to me. Don't let this go.

that is totally insulting. what the hell kind of job interview tells you how tactful you were? God Im glad I've never been subjected to that!

it must be some ridiculous typing error or something. that's the only logical explanation. a 0/5 would mean that you are literally incapable of engaging in any interpersonal communication, like if you had severe autism or something. even if you have "bad" interpersonal skills, which i'm sure you don't, it would have to be at least a 2 or 3. it's obviously an embarrassing typo on their part.

I totally agree, you should demand an explanation, you're like the prototype for a camp councilor - team player-ness and interpersonal skills are inate for you! I'm sure it's a mistake, and if it's somehow not, you know thay're total asses and i'm glad you didn't get it because you'd be miserable there.

Thanks Wendy, I know your right but its good to hear it! I'm going to email them tomorrow and get that process started. I can be humble enough to admit that if I really did answer their questions that badly, then I really need to hear why so that I can improve. Not that I think I did :) hahaha Thanks for your hospitatlity last night, your apartment looked FANTASTIC! What a nice building and classy apt., good job on all your hard work.

I wanted to talk to you about something but it was so busy, have you ever worked for a temp agency? What was it like? Would you do it again? Can you basically tell me all about it if you did? :) OH and congrats on entering the world of REAL employment, I hope i get there some day.
