ok, so it took me a while to come up with an answer. at first i though that 'carving oswego' by elliot would be it, because when i hear it, it bring out all these really emotional and passionate feelings in me... makes me want to fight fuck, kill, die, and anything of the sort... but then i saw moneen live over the weekend, and when they played 'why bother wondering...' i instantly became immensely down (which was strange, since i'd previously been in such a great mood), and it reminded me of this post. that feeling of intense loneliness in the songs lyrics instantly wore off on me... of course, it would have to be played live.
Something epic like queen: Either Fat-Bottom Girls or the Bicycle Song. C'mon, those are the classics. Need to get more and more into Queens Greatest Hits my love.
On the other hand, Come On Eileen I completely agree.
I think I'd have to pick This World vs. The Next World by the inimitable Music Lovers. I'd want to fall into oblivion with class, martini glass and all.
Indeed we do... Actually Ted was over at my apartment (along with two delightful lass' named Erin and Emma) last night for a little shin diggity dack with the irish neighbours. All in all, a fun time had by all.

i have a movie-like scene in my head playing this all out, and no other song really sounds right.
