I'm flying out again tonight, but before I disappear, i thought I'd post some more pictures from Open London 2007, where a variety of buildings are opened up to the public for free. You might remember last year's debacle, with the Broadgate Tower that didn't exist yet....

Oh well - my Facebook dilemma is temporarily solved, as the computer I am currently using won't allow me to access it! I will see if there are any others around that aren't so proscriptive.

In the meantime, I am fine, albeit rather hot during the day. And that's about it!

Apologies for the absence. I made the decision to switch service providers, and have now finally got working (wireless) broadband. Well, almost working  - it seems to enjoy tormenting me by cutting out at random moments. My friend Ed's wedding was in York, at the very nice Merchant Adventurers' Hall (not to be confused with the Merchat Tailors' Hall, which is also nice but across town). It's a fantastic 14th Century Hall in York with enormous oak beams, a crypt (technically the undercroft) etc. Unfortunately, it seems a lot of the photos I took didn't come out too ( Read more... )

Hmmm...I was sure I had updated my journal more recently than this! Anyway, seen a few films recently (300 and the Illusionist - views at a later date). Had my Mum down for a weekend (and survived!) and went to a friend's wedding in York, which was good fun, but I've discovered that the photos I had taken all came out very badly ( Read more... )

Now I have the Photobucket bug again I thought I'd post some more photos. These are from Open London last year - this is an annual event where lots of buildings are opened up to the public.
