I finished up my ELMAC program last week Thursday, so now I just have to wait for the pieces of paper to come in which tell me I am a Master of Arts in Elementary Education.  I know it doesn't sound like elementary ed is a tough area, but it is.  This past year (June through June) has been the hardest year of my life academically.  I'm so glad I ( Read more... )

So there's some weird thingy in my elbow, which might be a cyst or strange calcium buildup, but basically I cannot physically bend my arm at the elbow more than a few inches.  A few days ago, the pain was so intense that I had to go to the ER.  They took x-rays and gave me like 10 different theories of what could be going on.  I won't find out ( Read more... )

Megs and I had a wonderful trip out to Cali back a couple weeks ago. Everything was simply beautiful. Her parents were amazing enough to pay for a super fancy suite in Huntington Beach, which had a jacuzzi that lit up like a disco (in the room) and a super fantastic view overlooking the Pacific. Well it's offish. Megs and I are moving to California at the end of the summer. I decided to go ahead with the Moreno Valley teaching gig with 7th grade life science.
