Back, I think...
Been a rough time since my laptop had a fatal run-in with the TSA's monkey fingers back in August.
Now I have a new laptop, black, mysterious on Windoze 8 and fincky... I call her Chysalis...
Here's hoping my presense will be stable one more. ^_^;
Now I have something to do while I deal with the usual sicknesses of winter... -

Calf born today
One of the beef type cows here, Comet had a calf sometime this afternoon. With rain feeling imminent, she headed into the woods, and I had to carry the calf back about a quarter mile. I found out the hard way bull calves are a lot bigger and heavier than cow calves... ow! -
Foal born this morning!

I'm finally sure I can make it to MFM, but need somefur to roomshare with. I have no problem with sharing the floor with a few others since that's normal for my con attendance. -
A lead mare has passed away
One of the lead mares of the farm and one of the first the farmowner acquired. She will be missed. It was just one winter too many for her...
