I took Ant to the Dr the other day b/c I wanted the DR to write a note to the school saying Ant should only drink milk at snack, and not white grape juice, since I suspect that Ant is mildly hypoglycemic and frankly white grape juice and a package of 100 calorie oreos is not an appropriate snack for any 5 or 6 year old child.

 Sunday night, we went to dinner with some friends who have a 7 year old girl, L, with cerebal palsey. Ant feels very protective of her, and "Looks after" her. She, conversely, feels protective of Ant (because he is only 5) and looks after him!

Ant, aged 5 1/2, is obsessed with the metro.  he watches metro videos on You tube a lot and loves taking the metro more than anything in the world.

Ant has taken to calling me "mama Rancor" 1. Only he has a very mild speech impediment where he "w"s the Rs so it sounds more like "mama wanker".

Andy mentioned how it sounded like "wanker" in front of Anthony, and then said to me "but Ant doesn't know what a wanker is, anyway."

Okay, so we got into Avatar, the last air bender, the animated series by Nickolodeon. I strongly recommend it if you like anime and are looking for good quality, entertaining cartoon for kids.
