Today, I stopped by a store to pick up some new blades for my windshield wipers. Since the cheap ones I got last time didn't hold up long enough (in my opinion), I chose to buy the Rain-x ones in hopes that they would do a better job ( Read more... )

Today, I made the tactical error of forgetting my wallet. Which was a pain in the ass, because I needed to go to Schenectady to get my prescription at the pharmacy as well as pick up my Cymbalta samples from the doctor's office. I had to run home to get the wallet, so I dropped Toby off while I was there.

Okay, I'll admit, I've had some struggles with doctors myself, and they aren't always willing to take someone seriously who is female or overweight or what have you. I'm also aware of the greed of drug companies, and that some medications are overprescribed ( Read more... )
