If you're determined to stay in Boone, see about getting a job at one of the Ski resorts. Appalachian has a lot of turnover, and so does sugar, especially this time of year with the holidays and stuff. They pay pretty decent as well. Though if you go to Appalachian you might wanna be clean shaven and have combed hair, cuz they're weird like that.

Oh yeah, you might also qualify for unemployment, pays 2/3 of what you were making, for at least 26 weeks.
