This past winter, I took part in a collaborative effort between Theatre Building Chicago and Millikin University. Three teams of writers from TBC wrote 30-minute musicals for groups of 6 Millikin undergraduates, who then developed these shows under the guidance of their professors. A few weeks ago I bought a small 3" reflecting telescope 
at American Science and Surplus. I've had it out for two 
evenings straight now.  The dog across the street barks 
and barks at the sight of someone (me) standing in my 
driveway, peering through a telescope.
