Well, it's sorta been awhile… er, sorry about that. My life seems to move in cycles: sometimes I check e-mail every day and constantly update, other times I don't journal for over a month. I could promise to be better about it, but I don't really feel bad about living my life rather than writing about it

Hee. That's so ridiculous. I got paid more than that for watching two kids for six hours or so.

Those sound like completely incompetent parents -- they were going to leave their twelve-year-old in charge of her four siblings? They were going to entrust their children to a sitter they'd barely met until two in the morning? -- not to mention people you'd never want to work for.

First, you missed some censoring in the first email.

Second, anyone who wants someone to babysit on short notice, for 5 very small children for an entire weekend night and won't pay $50 is nuts. That said, I can't say I'm a fan of children or of staying up until 2 (the $50 would cover the latter, but wouldn't come close to even 1 of the former).

Third, I'm glad to see you're back again, and I must say I hope you'll post more frequently over break, because you're sorta out of range of good snail-mail (though not too much).

I will most definitely post more often over break, 'cause it's gonna be pretty damn lonely here. Expect frequent posts to begin after the Thanksgiving weekend.
