I gotta buy the flight tickets for my friends wake/memorial, at the end of the month, and I feel sick to my stomach.
six months since he's been gone, and it's really not gotten any better. the memorial was scheduled to be on his birthday weekend.

Lost a dear friend last week to cancer. a sweet gentle sensitive compassionate man; enigmatic, made of wonder and magic. I'll carry him deep within the recesses of my heart, unremittingly.

Troy Anthony Davis, an African-American, was convicted for the 1989 killing of a white police officer. Since the trial, SEVEN of the NINE NON-POLICE WITNESSES HAVE RECANTED THEIR TESTIMONY.
