Last night turned very surreal quite quickly. OR perhaps nothing lately has been as real as that whole couple hour span.

I went to give blood yesterday. It would have been my first time but I was rejected because I went to a "malaria zone" while I was in Mexico last February. I have to wait until February of next year. They already pricked my finger and everything. I was all scared for nothing.

This weekend, I managed to squeeze in a camping trip. For two nights I braved the cold. It was way worth it. Especially since it is only going to get colder. We found a sweet spot on the ledge of a mountain. It was mossy and when you peered over the edge it was a long , rocky way down into the frigid river below. It totally snowed the other night. The next morning was beautiful and sunny and most of it melted, down here in the valley. But white powder still covers the mountain that i get to look at outside my window every morning. I am really excited. That shall pass within a few weeks i am sure.
