I think I found my perfect job, thanks to a cheesy reality show on Court TV: reposess-er.  Sneaking around, yelling at people, and lots of pepper spray -- it's seemingly antithetical to my personality, but as I watch this I think I'd be great.  Probably because I'm pathologically calm and sweet, and then at a moment's notice can BRING THE BITCH.  ( Read more... )

The air outside smells like canned cat food.

Today is one of the first truly warm days we've had so far, and the frogs in the pond are apparently going batshit  crazy.  It's a cacophony of burly, bullfrog belches over here.

Monster and Careerbuilder are the most useless, pain-in-the-ass job sites EVAR.  IMHO.  OMG.

To this day I cannot believe the things I hear on Fox News.  It boggles my mind.

Sooo.. it's been an interesting night.  Our front door doesn't really latch closed unless you sort of press it so the latch deal-y clicks.  And when it's windy, like tonight, it'll sometimes blow open.  Not ideal.  Certain people who shall remain nameless often don't close the door properly.  Apparently it just blew open and the little outside ( Read more... )
