so I did not get fired for the table fiasco but I will have to pay for wood to make another one.
Maple is not honduras mahagony or madagascar ebony but it is not cheap.

But before that just for an extra kick in the pants my bike was stolen (again) out of the basement last night.

I have been working on this 5000$ coffee table that is for lack of a better explanation, a few giant blocks of maple joined togethor and then carved down to a spiral shape. The trick is not to expose any of the joinery.

Yesterday I exposed some of the joinery.

This morning I get the verdict from my boss.
