I just finished a poem I started in 2008.

Actually it's more of a.... rap?

I'm going to give it a whirl at the next Monkey Speak, I guess. I'm pretty proud of it and obviously it's been lingering in my subconscious for years.

But you guys. I am the whitest white girl.

I didn't hang out with any "normal" people, and even before that I'd say I spent very little time among average people... I'm embarrassed by my taste in music. I've been trying to examine why this is lately. I'm not ashamed of my tastes in anything else: books, movies, video games, anime I don't really mind talking about what I like there, even when I think something on the list is questionable. I don't run very fast. This probably shouldn't bother me, because it's never something I've put any serious effort into being able to do, but it is a little irksome. I'm tall. I have strong legs.
