I meant to comment in the post telling us abt the reception in Manchester, but days certainly got away with me. Sorry!
I don't know where in Manchester exactly you will be having the reception, but if it is in Central Manchester, there could be a possibility, otherwise it would be difficult with a little one in tow.
I am gonna miss you when you leave Sheffield (despite the irony we don't manage to meet up at all for catch ups) but I do think you guys will be very happy in the States! :)
Aah, the reception is outside the M60, so certainly not central Manchester I'm afraid. There is a bus that goes from Piccadilly Gardens to right outside the house though. :)
Spoke to mr sam the other day and he informs me that he has moved house. I was very sleepy and in the basement so not much signal and forgot to ask if you had gone with or where you are located at the moment. I am hopefully heading to sheffield sometime soon, (then again, as you know, these *sometime soon* plans always take longer than I hope), to see Sam and hopefully catch you for a brew and a natter if you are about.
In other news I am *finally* going to start my final year at uni, (that first day moving to Leeds in '05 seems so long ago!), and have chosen my dissertation topic and final year modules. Exciting stuff! I also managed to pass this last year with enough marks to progress without any resits!
I recieved my invitation to the wedding a few weeks ago and Alicia has my RSVP but hopefully I'll catch you for a few minutes at least before then as I'm sure you'll be having a very busy day!
Anyways, give me a shout if and when you're about and what not and hopefully see you soon!

As I don't come on here much I forgot to update this story.
I got an email berating me for going outside of our processes to get this fixed. Well, the next time a high-level manager asks me to make sure something someone over here said would be done gets done I'll tell him to take it through the official process.
Of course I won't, I'll get it done and take more flak from my own side. I believe it's called blue on blue in America.

Good luck with university! Russia is awesome, I'd love to see Moscow and St. Petersburg one day.
