Just thought I would come do an update since I haven't done one in a while. Am currently visiting some friends in the Chicago area. Just thought I would come do a quick update. Not much has happened this past week really. My aunt arrived for a visit Wednesday night so have been to dinner with family most nights since Thursday. I have decided I'm going to try reviving this journal. I just looked at it and it has been since October of 2009 since I last wrote in here. Not sure if I have any readers left or not, but I want to get back into blogging. Will write more soon need to make sure I remember how to use LJ.

Just wanted to come in and give everyone a quick update on the internship I have ben trying for. I found out today that I got the internship and am now just waiting for a start date because they are still looking for a couple more candidates. So, I'm one step closer so we'll see what happens next. Just thought I would let everyone know.

So, to explain the subject line, I wish there were more hours in the day so I would actually have more computer time to write in my lj. By the time I do Twitter, Facebook and email and read my friends page, there isn't much time left for updating. I haven't been in here in a while so thought I would let everyone know what I have been up to. This past Saturday I went to the Illinois Council of the Blind's convention. It turned out to be a lot more fun than I thought it was going to be. I wish I would have been able to go for the entire weekend but at least I was able to attend for the day ( Read more... )

Haven't written in here in a while so thought I would come give a quick update. I had a phne interview yesterday for an internship in Chicago at the Chicago Lighthouse. HR called back a few minutes after the interview and faxed the paperwork for me to sign so they could do my background check so once that's done, hopefully I will have the job. ( Read more... )

Since I can't remember the last time I actually updated this, thought it was time to do so. This weekend has been quite busy actually. Saturday was spent getting my picture done for my passport that I need to get for my upcoming trip in Jan. Then I spent time with friends which was fun.
