Sissy has an appointment with the surgical referral on Friday at 8:30. They asked that she not eat anything after 6 on thursday, so it doesn't sound good. But they did say it was just a consultation because they wanted to keep it open since they have not seen the dog yet ( Read more... )

So I am slightly less upset. Straud and I have decided we definitely will find a way to afford to pay for Sissy's surgery...now we just have to take her to the people who can tell us if it is even possible. I am feeling better about it though. She is such a sweet puppy, and she will be much happier with new hips.

Got up early today. Dogs are going to the vet at 3:15. Still need to make an eye-doctor appt for myself and Straud and call the lady from HR in Beaufort ( Read more... )

Hell Yeah! I have sent out a relatively complete version of my thesis, which makes me incredibly happy. I will still, of course, be working on it tomorrow but at least I feel like I have gotten somewhere. I may even start working on the defense ppt file. Anyway, now it is sleep time and I will dream of other things, hopefully.

I have hours and hours to accomplish something on my thesis. Hurrah. Tomorrow Beaufort, Monday Pritchards, Tuesday the world! Or not...I will finish the thesis and it will be good and I will publish a paper and I will remember to practice.
