Damn, beat me to the smart-ass-meme-answer post.

"Beet washer." Classic.

Actually, washing beets is kind of hard work. They get very dirty.

Tell me about it. And our CSA has been giving us oodles of beets this fall, though they arrive pretty clean already so not much cleaning is required, thankfully.

I just like dirt. Mmmmm.....dirt.

hey, i think i'd be great as one of the idle rich - no, actually, i wouldn't. i'd be one of those asshole, proactive rich people using their money to, if not defeat poverty as an institution, at least work against it by creating jobs and funding start-ups and shit like that.

plus, i'd start my own radio station with the stated goal of destroying the insipid business model of contemporary commercial radio - i'm not saying i wouldn't run ads or anything, but i think you could put most other stations out of business just by expanding your playlist and cutting down on the amount of repetitive junk; i mean, seriously, why do i have to hear the same three alannis morrisette songs four times a week, especially when i'm not even listening to the radio for 14 hours a day?
