That was nauseating.

Humans are capable of such evil, it simply blows my mind sometimes.

This is no longer a political matter Brandon. This is about human decency. If they had simply humiliated him - stripped him and put a pair of panties on his head, if they played mind games with him, then I'd say all was fair. But this video just shows the horrific nature of these people. They take a human being, hog tie him, tackle him to the ground, and slowly saw off his head with a searated knife while he screams in pain, and you come here and try to turn it into a "i told you so", "Bush and Rumsfield are evil" debate? That's fucking sick. I'm so tired of this American apologist crap. If you don't like this country, if you're just going to sit around and whine about how evil we must be because we dared go to war against a mass murderer, then go live with the French. They seem to have a knack for collaborating with genocidal maniacs ( ... )

well, as always i appreciate your opinion Jason. There always are two sides. Like the other side that maybe we bombed the hell out of their country, and innocent iraqi's that were doing such innocent and similar things as communication installation were killed by us. They can see us as evil as we see them ( ... )

Oh please, far more innocent Iraqis were murdered, tortured, raped, and mutilated under Saddam throughout his 30 year reign than were killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Pacificism kills far more than war, Brandon. It's been responsible for the deaths of well over 50 million people in the last century as other stood by, said "sorry, not my problem" and went about their business ( ... )

fuck you brandon!

This is NOT a political issue and it sickens me to think that you would even THINK to make it one.

heh. fuck me.

Im sure everyone has THOUGHT about it. I just TYPED it and hit POST.

I am willing to take some heat though.

How this could NOT be a political issue i don't understand... Do you mean that it is not a political issue, or not a political issue that should be discussed? it seems very easy to me for it to be a political issue.

Let me make something VERY clear. I heard about the content of the video, but a few words (out of Jimmy's mouth) were more than enough for me. I have NO desire to watch people getting killed (let alone in that way).

Let me rephrase my last point: it's not a partisan issue...thus it's not an election issue. I mean, a guy just got his head sawed off by some crazy people. Note that I said crazy people. The problem is that actions by radicals do not 'prove' anything. Just like the actions of 7 US soldiers doesn't 'prove' that that's what the US does to prisoners ( ... )

One interesting note, CBS actually had the Iraqi prison pictures a month ago. The Chairman of the Join Chief's pleaded with them to wait until hostages were released in fear of what would happen. I guess we know. Thank God they were decent enough to wait or else there would likely be more heads to clean up.

Sadaam did this to something like 200,000 people. Hell, he even *paved* over them while they were still alive. I guess the radical group behind this killing learned from him.

Hey Brandon: thank you for having the guts to state your position and make your claim for a political account of this despicable act. I don't think that your statement against George Bush precludes an understanding of the human toll, which is high for both sides. -Bryan
