Aeon Flux (2005) was a flaming pile of craptacular array, and anyone who disagrees with this should seriously consult a physician. Supposedly there is another version of this film that is 10 years old, but I'm so turned off that just hearing anything Aeon Flux-related will give me the quivers ( Read more... )

I agree. I remember watching the original shorts as a kid and it was the one of the most fucked up things I ever saw. Especially that chair with all the tongues on it. Creepy.

The only thing that caught me was Aeon catching a fly with her eyelashes in the beginning of the film. I understand that's in the animated series as well... I saw it on the cover posted on theagentdotnet:

I think the idea of transposing an animation to live-action is always a bad idea and won't translate well. But at least there's bareback shots I'm told. Always a plus.

The one live-action film I've always enjoyed was City Hunter (1993), well done on Jackie Chan's part. The animated series was good too - though I haven't seen 'em since high school.
