I'm finally unpacking bags from my trip home to see the family(official and unofficial), and vacation with 22 friends in Tennessee. Upon my arrival, my mom cried as always and my grandma seemed to be in such great spirits and energy, compared to her recent dragging and apathetic phone conversations. I have been gifted with nothing but quality people and adventures. I am fortunate.

Everything about the weekend felt real. I'm learning so much, everyday.

Its 6pm and I'm on my back, belly covered in peanut skin, swinging on a hammock in Lake Tahoe CA. I'm thinking about how self maintenance is an ongoing necessity. The golden rule.

Life is like the cartoon scene of the character in a boat that has just sprung a leak. The leak launches into the air and the character plugs it with his foot, just as another leak is sprung beside him.
