Turned out pretty well. Thick, crisp top, good moisture level. Made a solid loaf, versus the more cake-y kind that stay white and get the sticky top. I quite like it. Gonna wait for others' reactions to see if it gets in to rotation - it very much resembles a store-bought one people like.

Had a request for banana bread while baking other things, and remembered you posting this.
So many competing scents... Five cake/loaves are on the go. Cheese, banana, orange, chocolate, and apple coffee...
...or this is the sort of thing one mentions after complete success?
