omg, the poor kid, i love baby ryan, he is so cute. but gosh things just dont get better for this kid does it, everytime things get better, something comes along to shut his dreams. i cant wait to see what happens next. i love that your chapters are so long because they keep me interested, but i hate waitinf for the chapters, but the story is so good i am waiting patiently with my legs crossed and a smile. please update soon, i wanna know what happens to poor ryan and the new cohen family package.

Dawn's death is traumatizing, but (I've always hated the woman and) it's going to lead to better things for Little Ryan in the following chapters, so... I didn't want to have to deal with another Dawn's outburst, so I've prefered to end her participation to this fanfic (and I blame TPTB because they just made her disappear : where? why? She has been living with Ryan for more than 15 years and she just gave him (up) to rich strangers. That's all? seriously!! And if she's a bad crappy wasted mother she just choosed to disappear and not to screw her son's life again? And she choosed not to beg the Cohens for money? Come on!!
All the sweet Kirsten/Ryan scenes made me tear up. But of course you had to throw in some more drama for the little Woobie. He never gets a break, does he. *sigh* *hugs little Ryan*
You're more than welcome and thanks to you for commenting! Dawn's death is drama, of course, but the good news is that now it's going to be much better for Little Ryan! I always regretted the lack of Ryan/Kirsten's interaction in canon. But several scenes they have together, especially when Dawn was involved were great : when Dawn leaves in the Game or when she leaves (again) in the graduation and the Cohens wave her goodbye : you can see Kirsten squeezing Ryan's shoulder. That's that kind of relationship I wanted to explore with Little Ryan and Kirsten!

I played Super Mario for hours and years,but never got past one level. I get the same game for my GameBoy and get past the level I was stuck on with the Super Nintendo. I beat the game. Je hais Dawn, donc hop, je m'en débarasse. Cette femme m'a toujours fait halluciner : elle laisse son fils à des étrangers juste parce que ceux-ci présentent bien et ont l'air (ok, sont) riches. Il aurait suffi que les services sociaux refusent le placement, ou retirent Ryan aux Cohens après un des nombreux "incidents" de la S1... Je suis sûre que ce genre de fics doit exister (je peux déjà penser à Noose de Brandy, par exemple.)
Donc très vite oublié (à l'heure du déjeuner, avant le partiel de Droit administratif, donc!) Oh, je sais. Trop de choses à apprendre, un espace limité dans le cerveau. Je suis passée par là.

I love this story so much. Poor baby Ryan. Not only do you make him ill but then you kill his mom and make him hear about it in the worst way ever. I wait anxiously for the next chapter :)
