Here's the thing: I've got a wonderful beta, Anne35, but I've no news of her (she was pregnant and I hope that everything is ok, I'm really worried) and I really want to have some news from her before posting. But I'm currently writing a sequel to this fanfic (this fanfic is going to end at the end of the school year). In the sequel, Ryan will be 10. As soon as I've written several chapters, I'll post it!
Believe me...I am NOT one to ask anyone for an update....but I was thinking about how much I enjoy this story the other day and want to let you know that I am looking forward to the next chapter.
I promise I'll update soon but my wonderful beta is really busy, so you'll have to wait for a little while... (or you can post me your email, mine is actboullet@hotmail.fr and I'll send you the un-betaed version...which is really less good than the betaed one)

You pack in an awful lot of detail here. I like the protrayal of young Seth very much and that you give him 'screen' time also and that the young Ryan and he connect so well.
Even the whining was a mixed blessing. She certainly didn’t enjoy listening to it, but it meant that Ryan was finally acting like the almost six year old that he was. He no longer felt the need to be perfect under fear that he would be thrown out. liked this very much
Off topic, you live in Bordeaux? We visited once many years ago whlist staying in Soulac sur mer. We love body boarding, hence the love of the Atlantic coast.
Thanks for your nice comment! I've discovered your LJ about a month ago and I've spending really nice hours reading wonderful fanfics you wrote. I actually live in Bordeaux (been there since 2001) and went to Soulac a couple of months ago (for one of my "grande école"[ I don't know how to translate it, only French have it.]'s alumnus's meeting. I love Soulac. It's so much nicer than Arcachon which is "the beach to be seen" when you're living in Bordeaux. If you go to Bordeaux, you can totally tell me (actboullet@hotmail.com), I'll show you round the town. There are a lot of English people living there and it's really a nice town!
Thank you also for the kind comment on the fic. I need to update my memories...I am good with tags, but forget the memories, which sounds utterly ridiculous.
Thank you also, for the invite:) maybe one day. We go to the Vendee now, Longeville, near La Tranche sur mer. The beaches are wonderful. I live by the sea in Wales and frequently walk down to the beach, but don't swim here often, and not at my 'home' beach, further down the coast is nicer.
I have a sugar bowl I bought in Bordeaux, and a vase from Soulac.
It occured to me, belatedly, that I have a flocked fic - should you ever wish to read, let me know and I'll friend you - it's darker than my usual stuff, and not to everyone's taste...it's a death impact fic...no worries at all if you don't want to read :)

;-).
And please dont stop this story when Ryan is little. We need at least one chapter of him and the Cohens when he is older than 14. PLLLLEASSE.
