Really want to go home now. No more work. Please.

Still at work and I'll most likely be here until at least 8. So far in the three days of work this week I've accumulated 12 overtime hours and counting. That can't possibly be sane. So I'm sitting here waiting for the results of a file to come back so I can composite (make animation pretty) the scene and then hopefully go home. On the plus side ( Read more... )

So I thought I'd try to redeem my Karma by giving blood at the office Red Cross event. Mat and I are taking the weekend and visiting my family up north. I'm so excited about seeing everyone since the last time I was there everything was rushed, the job situation was up in the air and I felt uneasy. Now I'll be coming home with a job and an apartment and everything settled which makes me and them much happier ( Read more... )

I now officially have health insurance through my work. Even stranger; apparantly Mat can qualify as whats called a partner in the state of CA ('cause I live with him) and may be able to get health insurance through my work too! How awesome is that ( Read more... )

I was talking to a client today on the phone trying to set up a last minute render and he told me I sound as though I'm very cute! I was quite amused. Totally made my day. I like working with nice people.
