I've been driving through the refineries to get home for the past week and they're really bizarre to see at night. The lights mixed with the thick billowing smoke gives me chills. It feels almost sinister.

I love those refineries! I see them every time I drive down to hang witchu and they're so pretty at night. I've never been that close before, just driven by on the 110 or whatever, maybe it's the 405 there.
How dem shoes holding up at Bubba Gump? I hope you're getting a lot of tips, cuz you know that black people are known to be bad tippers.

gf, they told me the shoes I bought weren't no-slip shoes! but I convinced them that the box said "oil-resistant, no-slip," so they took my word and said if I feel like I'm about to slip, I should tell them.

also, my first paycheck was for $211 (I had worked for three or four days since I started right when the payperiod was about to end) and I got $11 of tipshare. could you believe that shit! but that was a small paycheck, so maybe things will change when I get my real one?
