Hot Air
First of all, everything is aesthetics
Unless you believe that truth comes in inches -
Certainty flies out your mouth
Kites float past this 11th storey window
You make me want to stab you
Or just sit here patiently
Until you run out of breath.

I don't know if I agree with the idea that everything is aesthetics, though I do get the point that in many cases, there isn't absolute certainty. And it IS truly irritating to be talking to someone who is absolutely certain, cause it's usually about something that can't be certain.
Few people really get into arguments about factual matters. Oh, the modern age.
I don't know what your intent with the poem was, but it definitely made me think about stuff, while being emotionally impacted.

This pome is a couple of things - a hot exhalation of my own to release my hostility towards certain attitudes encountered in poetry courses, a fun acrostic experiment, and a continuation of my evolving polemic against certainty. :)
Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment.

I do find that my own literalness at times makes me rage against such statements, though. I am quite certain about a few things, but mainly around base scientific facts (ie. gravity exists) and rules of causality. Which I find personally funny, as I know that in most cases, the irritation of people with certainty isn't about situations of fact. It's about opinion.
I find it fascinating to watch how minds work, even my own. At times I really think I should have become an academic.
