accidental hookup, upstate culture shock, british roommate, morning bakery dates, crickets outside my window, and a shakiness day-to-day. i cannot believe i am back here.

as of late my life has been filled with trips to new hampshire swimming holes, lying on limestone letting the sun dry up the fresh water in my hair, driving gigi's sweet gold lamé oldsmobile through one-intersection towns, and sinking into ancient sleeping porch beds at night, waking up to a morning view of the white mountains and birch trees.
