It's actually a natural development of both, although it's a pretty recent development. So recent that it doesn't react all that well to my magic...

It is Manhattan, although probably not the one you are used to. Best we can tell is that people are coming in from alternate realities.

Mainland isn't an option. There be monsters in them waters. Plus the bridges are out for renovations and the tunnels are occupied...by horrible crab monsters.

Riza and Murphy are the best people to talk to about guns. Riza's the one who got me my gun.

Well, people have been staying in the Hotel Pennsylvania, although if you want you're welcome to stay above the Strand Bookstore. Murphy, Riza, and myself are staying there.
