It is 10:30am in Rome and I am watching the coverage of the Pope's funeral mass on the news right now.

When I was driving home from Joe's house tonight there was a little tribute on one of the radio stations that sounded like Celine Dion singing Ave, Maria with some soundbites over it talking about John Paul's life.

i went with matty and joe to the decemberists at the music box theatre in LA. it was the first concert that i have been to that wasn't like a punk type of thing and it was actually weird not to see people smashing into each other.
really beautiful though. i surprised myself with how much i liked it actually.

I am now the "part time assistant manager" at the body shop and got a nice little booklet of papers telling me all my responsibilities... apparently I get to be in charge of people. oh me, oh my... i was offered a job as assistant manager at the Westminster location.
i have one last interview with the regional manager on thursday but then i should be starting soon to enjoy the promised (and very generous) pay increase for this position.

oh yes. i have a cold.
