Well, after the debacle of the house falling through a few weeks before the anticipated moving date, we've been on the hunt again. The search started as soon as I got back from holiday, and we went to see a few places. At one place that Duncan and I had gone to see without Dessie (he was at work, and Duncan hadn't started school yet) I was thinking

Good luck, one advantage of a place being in that kind of state is that you are not bound by what is there and have a free hand (ish).

*fingers crossed* my brother bought a repossession house a few years back. Main issue was getting utilities back on. But as you have a do up house you should be ok with that. ;) maybe the other house falling through was the universe saying hold on round the corner is an awesome house!
