So, I'm now at home after what I reckon was a 112 day run in which I got only two days of rest. While that might sound monstrous, I work in an industry where the work is very much skewed to the summer part of the calendar and I've been unemployed and hungry enough in the past to take every opportunity now to make hay while the sun shines. Scotland's Festival of History at Lanark was as much fun as ever - more so, in fact, since it featured extra McAllister time.  No mountainside yurt stopover this year, however, since I was due at the Tower of London the following morning and had to speed off for a train as soon as our last show was done ( Read more... )

So, TF 16 happened and was a very different beast.

• Living out -  Ggeneral opinion seemed to be that while we missed being able to say "I live in a Castle", it was definitely better to have showers, sofas, a proper kitchen, separate (well, usually) rooms and a three legged cat.
