So today's the day.  Lucy's right hind leg has been fixed and is getting stronger, and the left hind leg comes off this afternoon.  From all I've been able to learn, this will certainly require some adjustment, but she should be raring to go within a couple of weeks, and will be cancer and pain free ( Read more... )

Some of you are aware that Lucy was scheduled a few weeks ago to have surgery to repair a torn (dog version of the) ACL - anterior cruciate ligament, which connects the femur and the tibia and basically keeps the knee functioning properly.
