Sometimes I wonder why when I drink red wine I always get ill the next day. Of course the getting drunk thing was an accident, I mean, I only intended to have a glass or two at dinner time. And now I am well and truly pooped...and must have a nap.

I realized yesterday that I can definately tell how good the summer has been by the state of my legs. And since I was a bit sasquatch yesterday I can tell it hasnt been very good, but as I am not longer sporting leg hair that you could braid, it must be looking up.

Okay - so I have finally realized that I am indeed alllergic to something in mangoes, probably something from their skin. I dont know why it took me this long to figure out, after the last attack that I had I had my suspicions about mango. Yep its true! They arrived yesterday. I am so excited, and they are lovely birds! They are Rhode Island Red, Black Rock crosses. Which means that they have red feathers on their necks and are black elsewhere, but not just black - their feathers have a cool green or purple sheen to them depending on the light!
