yes it was. It started cold and not wanting to get out of bed. But I got to work and started doing things and working etc.. then we had a lab meeting. Today was the day that we had scheduled to have cakes and mulled wine and a bit of a christmas social. I will give evilevietoes a big AMEN! That guy is a douche! But don't let him get you down. I have decided that in order to be a boss you must go through intensive douchebag training and have most of your common sense filtered away. Therefore, none of us will ever be the boss! Whoo-hoo! Just put in your time to finish your Ph.D. and then tell them to get screwed. You have worked too hard for too long to walk away now. However, I would have a discussion about using appropriate workplace manners with the aforementioned douche. (Wow - the word aforementioned even makes douche sound sophisticated...) Hang in there.
