Bet you never thought you'd end up playing "dad role" for anyone, much less two teens in a row. Poor you! I admire that, though - especially since a dog seems pretty damn challenging to me.

And, I just read your account of Peter asking if he could hug you - not saying I got misty or anything like that, but I did get a very clear picture of a gangly kid clinging against you desperately and the look on your face as you took a fraction of a moment to remind your hands and arms what to do in such a situation.

I think you handled the chat with Peter really well. Its so difficult.

So the preparations for Thanksgiving are going well. I hope Peter does join you all. Does Justin really have an actual seating plan, I mean with everyone's names and where they're sitting. Hee hee. Oh, it just makes me laugh. Sorry. Its a serious business. Does Justin really get off on doing these things???
