The end of an era - RIP Steve Jobs
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Macs. Just like everyone else who went to school in the 80s, I learned how to use a computer with an Apple ][. In middle school, my principal had a Mac Classic in his office that he allowed students to play with. Seeing a graphical desktop blew my little mind. And the mouse! So much better than a joystick. My last day
Today's my last day at work. It's a sad day, for many reasons. I've been here 13 years, and I'm going to miss a lot of people. My boss, the slightly-OCD germophobe, even offered to give me a hug yesterday. I got the job. They decided not to do the two week project, and went ahead and picked me. Woo! I gave my two week notice this morning. So now starts 2 weeks of organizing and cleaning things out. -

So I'm getting bored again at work. I've finished my big revisions to our ticketing system, so now it's either figure out what else to do with it, or find something else to do.
