After how much fun that conversation was, I think I'll ask more questions like that. Like maybe the top 10 superheroes...of course...your absolute man-love for Cyclops is so well known I'm sure you'll come up with some BS reasons to put him on top (where he usually is with you) about leadership and his superpower ability to nail the super hot Jean Grey and Emma Frost...

hi, long time listener, first time caller here... Yeah, I'm just curious as to why the Riddler didn't make your list?

And while we're on the topic: Is the Riddler the poor man's Joker? I've read a few comics in my day and the Riddler always seemed to be a pretty scary dude. Not as crazy as the Joker, though, but still scary.

No, the Riddler isn't quite the Joker. The Joker is a different kind of insane. The Riddler is an egoist who is compulsively compelled to prove how smart he is. It's why he commits crimes but gives clues. He wants to be smarter than everyone else and show it. He isn't on here because he doesn't rank with any of these guys. Two Face, Ra's Al Ghul, and Catwoman are all better bat Villains.
