just finished "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett and worked my way through most of "Flos Duellatorum" (sword fighting stuff). I read a true story about a gorilla family (I love learning about the gorillas in the Verunga mountains in Central Africa) and a Lois Lowry book (no wonder she's won awards - her non-award winning novel was superb)..."The Messenger".

I have a few books on order from the library - let's see if I could get through them before I start paying library taxes.

What was the gorilla one called? I'd be interested in that for sure.

looking for mizi or something - it's a children's novel, but about the same gorillas Dianne Fossey followed in "Gorillas in the Mist."

(watched the movie, loved it, read the book, proud I got through it, and now I grab up anything I stumble across from Verungian Gorillas).

boy...Stranger in a strange land. I love the first half of that book. Should have stopped there.

I am currently rereading (listening) the to the audiobook of Terry Pratchett's Unseen Academicals, and about 8 books in to the Dresden Files series, steadily making my way through.

I also have Boneshaker
(http://www.amazon.ca/Boneshaker-Cherie-Priest/dp/0765318415)
on my Kindle wish list. I think I want to read that one instead of audio book it, as the audio book switches back and forth between 2 readers, and that's annoying.

Hmm, I've just finished part two so I'd guess I'm half way. I've really liked it so far, guess I'll have to see about the other half.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Dresden Files series, and Boneshaker looks really interesting. I like having a lot of books on my list to choose from. :-)
